Scope
Lumecon replaced all of Rosemont Fire Department's existing exterior HID / metal halide fixtures with Lumecon’s energy efficient 33 watt Forward Throw Wallpack.
Description
Rosemont Fire Department decided to replace its aged, degrading 175w (+ballast) metal halide fixtures. Rosemont Fire Department's original lighting, which included antiquated, wasteful HID (High-Intensity Discharge) and MH (metal halide) fixtures, offered little in efficacy, color rendering, uniformity, and overall useful exterior lighting. The replaced MH fixtures offered a 3500K color temperature which creates a wasteful yellow-brown blob of light. With the completion of the new, made in Michigan, crisp 6200K Lumecon LED Wallpack line the Fire Station immediately saw a 65% energy efficiency, and a markedly improved exterior lighting package which boasts ZERO MAINTENANCE for 7 Years (Lumecon’s 7 Year All-Parts warranty is unmatched in the industry!). The 33 watt Wallpacks which replaced the wasteful 175w HID, at fifteen foot also show zero light let up. In fact, the Firemen of this Fire House commented that the lighting was better than before and they could see pedestrian and vehicular access with the improved LED lighting package.
